Hey, I’m Dahl! I am a Canadian girl, born and raised. My passions revolve around art, reading, animals, and sports. Describing my design style, I would say it leans towards whimsical, minimalist, and illustrative. Bright and pastel colours, along with inviting and fun designs, hold a special place in my heart. I genuinely believe that graphic design plays a crucial role in today’s society, requiring a combination of passion, time, and skill to create impactful designs.
I hold a diploma in photography from Fanshawe College, studied Art History at Western, and just wrapped up an advanced diploma in Graphic Design in 2024. My areas of specialization include layouts, illustrations, logos & brand design, and photography. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, XD, and Figma, I also have experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro. Over the past three years, I’ve been a graphic designer at Digital Extremes, creating various graphic assets for different platforms.
As I look ahead, my journey in design continues, fuelled by a desire to grow and develop my skills further. I am eager to explore various software, techniques, and mediums, embracing new challenges and opportunities in the dynamic field of graphic design.
